Perhaps you’ve been inspired by Simon Sinek or Tim Leberecht at their recent Australian tours or perhaps it’s something you have always known (or felt). You’re passionate about putting people first and creating sustainable workplaces that enable every individual, good organisations and society to thrive. You aspire to humanise work, but how do you get others on board?
While attending the launch of Richard Branson’s 100% Human at Work initiative in Sydney last week, I wondered: “What would it take for these 80 individuals to make a real impact on the broader systems in Australia?” Thinking about this I remembered the “I/WE/IT Framework”, a framework for implementing large scale social change.
The “I” represents the individual leader – the values and aspirations that we each embody. The “WE” is the collective – the relationships, organisations and networks that we catalyse, build and lead. The “IT” represents the larger systems that we hope to influence – our workplaces, communities and environment.
Considering this framework it becomes clear that the next step on the bridge is to bring together our collectives and introduce them to this movement.
Talkpoint would love to help you to take this next step. We have designed a two-hour workshop that will help you shift from “I” to “WE” within your organisation. You bring together a small group of influencers from across your business and we’ll facilitate a conversation that matters. Together we’ll put the key in the ignition and start your organisation on the journey towards humanising work.
